Sometimes they work, sometimes they play, but mostly they make music, which I guess is a bit of both

Nate here - 20 years ago on mine and Maria’s wedding day, we were in the middle of the reception and I realised I hadn’t prepared a speech. So I found a quiet spot, took an acoustic guitar and on the back of a napkin wrote this song.
I then sang it to her as my “speech”.
A couple of years later we released it as a duo.
20 years later we thought it would be fun to create a simple remake but this time include some of the Mayan Fox kids (the ones that still live at home) in some way.
Featuring Dwaine and Shanta’s adorable Nitro introducing the song with “Will you Marry Me?”
Shannon and Jonika’s little heartbreaker Jax saying goodbye as his dad left for work (end of the song) and making sure he knew that he loved him almost as much as crocodiles,
and the still at home kids (all cousins) of James, Summer, Maria and Nate singing in the background “Build a home, a shelter for me.”
This song was recorded and mixed in our bedroom/music room.
The single artwork is a nod and a wink to a picture that hangs above our bed and seemed super appropriate - Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss”!
